PERSONAL TESTIMONY (GRACE Eun-Hye CHANG) |
I'm very happy to write you my personal history and
testimony.First, I'll look back at my life before
meeting Jesus Christ. I was born in 1961, Seoul,
Korea. My name is Eun-hye, Which means "Grace of
God". My name, Eun-hye, may tell you that I have a
Christian family but I don't. I am the First
Christian to my family. During my Childhood, I
would go to Church and Sunday school. I would go to
the temple of Buddhist With my parents. When I
went to Church, I didn't know Why God sent me Jesus
and what the salvation was. The more I went to
Church, the nearer God came to me.
When I was a freshman at the university, I finally
received Jesus as my
Savior. God helped me to make many good Christian
friends. They helped me to serve at Church and to
study at Bible study Group of C.C.C. God taught me
that I should pray for my family. They became
Christians. My younger sister is also a pastor's
wife. When I was a senior at the University, I
thought what I should do for the future.
The more I prayed for my future, the more I came to
believe that God needed my life. So I decided to
devote my life to God.
After graduating from the university, I worked at
the international law offices as a secretary for
foreign lawyers. I didn't know how I could live
my life for God. I had no calling to be a missionary.
When I met my husband, he had a vision for mission.
He advised me to enter the Graduate school for
majoring religious education. I studied it.
My husband ministered to the Church as director of
mission department. Last year, God gave us a good
opportunity to go to Russia and Eastern countries with
young people from my Church. While my husbandprepared
for the short term mission trip, my husband and I
realized that the time God wanted to use us had come.
After the trip, we were called us missionaries
through prayer and meditation of God's word. So we
attended Missionary training Institute in Seoul, Korea
and are being trained in many things for mission.
God bless you
